Accessibility

Everyone should be able to read this site.

Founder Reels is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and it is the one we hold ourselves to.

What we have done

The basics, done properly.

Keyboard. Every control on the site can be reached and operated without a mouse. A skip link at the top of each page jumps past the navigation.
Screen readers. Pages use proper landmarks and heading structure. Images have text alternatives. Form fields have labels, and errors are announced, not just shown in color.
Contrast. All text meets the AA contrast ratio against its background, including small print and buttons.
Motion. The animated headline on the home page can be paused with a visible button, and it stays still automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
Zoom and reflow. The site works at 200 percent zoom and on screens as narrow as 320 pixels without horizontal scrolling.
Without scripts. All content is visible if JavaScript is unavailable.
