Privacy Policy

What we collect, and what we do with it.

We collect what it takes to prepare a report or run an engagement, and nothing for its own sake. This page says what that is, where it goes, and how to have it removed.

Effective September 16, 2026.

Who we are

Founder Reels is a small operation, and this is a short policy.

Founder Reels is a personal brand strategy service for founders and executives. It is operated by Los Angeles Brands from 15442 Ventura Blvd., Ste 101-2797, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403. When this page says "we," it means Founder Reels and the people who work on it.

We collect only what we need to prepare a report, run an engagement, or reply to you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising on this site.

What we collect

Only what you give us, plus what is already public.

  • Report requests. When you request a Personal Brand Growth Report, we collect your name, email address, company, role, a link to your LinkedIn profile, and anything you write in the optional goal field.
  • Public presence research. To prepare a report, we review information about you that is already public: your LinkedIn profile, your company website, search results for your name, press coverage, and similar sources. We do this only for people who have requested a report or engaged us.
  • Email updates. If you subscribe to Notes, we collect your email address and the date you subscribed.
  • Client engagements. If you hire us, we collect what the work requires: billing details, the content and materials you share with us, feedback, and correspondence.
  • Correspondence. When you email or call, we keep the message so we can reply and keep a record of what was agreed.
  • Site usage. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies of its own. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited. The form and subscription tools we use may set a cookie of their own so a submission can be matched to your request.
How we use it

To do the work you asked for.

  • Deliver your report. We use what you submit and what we find in public to score and write your report, then send it to the email address you gave us.
  • Run your engagement. We use client information to plan, produce, and deliver the work in your agreement.
  • Follow up. After a report, we may email you about the report itself and about the paid tiers that follow it. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.
  • Send Notes. If you subscribe, we send Notes no more than once a week. You can leave the list in one click.
  • Reply and keep records. We use correspondence to answer you and to keep an accurate record of the engagement.
  • Run the business. We use billing details to invoice and collect payment, and we keep the records tax and accounting rules require.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not combine it with data purchased from third parties.

Who we share it with

Service providers, and no one else, unless the law requires it.

We use a small number of tools to run the business. Each one processes your information on our behalf and under its own privacy terms.

  • Forms, email, and client records. Report requests, subscriptions, and client correspondence are handled through GoHighLevel, which stores contact records and sends our email.
  • Payments. Paid engagements are invoiced and collected through a payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Hosting and email. Our website host and email provider store the site and our mailboxes.
  • Contractors. Some engagement work, such as design or editing, may be done by a contractor working under our direction and a confidentiality agreement.
  • Legal requirements. We will disclose information if a court, regulator, or law requires it, or if it is needed to protect the rights or safety of a person.
  • Business transfer. If Founder Reels is sold or merged, client records may transfer with it. The new owner would be bound by this policy for information collected under it.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Your public profile

The report reads what a buyer would read.

The Growth Report is an assessment of how you appear to someone who searches your name. It is built from public sources and from what you submit. We do not access private accounts, we do not log in as you, and we do not use scraping tools that violate a platform's terms.

Anything we write about you in a report is delivered to you alone. We do not publish a report, quote it, or name you as a client without your written permission.

How long we keep it

As long as the relationship, plus what the law requires.

  • Report requests. Kept while we prepare and follow up on your report. If you do not engage us, we delete the request and the report materials within twenty-four months of the request, or sooner if you ask.
  • Subscribers. Kept until you unsubscribe. An unsubscribed address is retained only on a suppression list so we do not email it again.
  • Clients. Engagement records are kept for seven years after the engagement ends, which is what accounting and tax rules require of us.
  • Server logs. Kept by our hosting provider for a short rolling period and then deleted.
Your choices

Ask, and we will act on it.

You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Email brian@founderreels.com with your request. We will confirm your identity, then respond within thirty days.

Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link. Using it stops those emails immediately. It does not affect emails we need to send about an active engagement, such as invoices or delivery of work.

California residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request that it be deleted, to correct it, and to not be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that point. You can make any of these requests by emailing the address above, or by asking someone you have authorized to make the request for you.

Visitors outside the United States

Founder Reels operates from California and its providers store data in the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where the law of your country gives you additional rights over your information, you can exercise them by emailing us.

Security and children

Reasonable care, honestly described.

We protect the information we hold with access controls, encrypted connections, and the security measures of the providers named above. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot promise that a breach will never occur. If one does affect your information, we will tell you as the law requires.

This site and our services are for working professionals. They are not directed to anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes and contact

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.

We will update this policy when our practices or the tools we use change. The effective date at the top of the page is the date of the current version. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email you before it takes effect.

Questions about this policy, or any request under it, go to brian@founderreels.com or 818-276-9040. Postal mail reaches us at 15442 Ventura Blvd., Ste 101-2797, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403.
